«PROBOTECTOR (魂斗羅) SGB Enhanced» is a hack of PROBOTECTOR (魂斗羅) (Game Boy). This hack adds a custom border and custom colour set to make this game compatible with the Super Game Boy peripheral. Probotector for Game Boy is the Western (European) version of the game Operation C on Game Boy. This hack aims to improve the player experience by bringing the game closer to the original development of the CONTRA series. To do so, the game uses the tiles and color palettes from one of the levels of the SEGA Mega Drive game «Contra Hard Corps». This patch can be applied directly on this ROM: “Probotector (Europe)”.

This rom hack is distributed as an IPS (International Patching System) patch. You'll need to find the Probotector (Europe) rom on your own. Once you have it, you can use a website or program like this one to apply the patch to the rom. You'll also need a Game Boy emulator, like mGBAor BGB, to run the patched rom. The patched rom also works on a real Super Game Boy.
